Any suggestions on what it could be.
2006 wrangler water on front floors after heavy rin.
When it rains at a bit more than a sprinkle for any amount of time my jeep wrangler retains a great amount of water in both floor boards.
When i was done i could barely feel anything but damp carpet.
We had had some heavy rain for several days this is heaviest rain the jeep has seens since i got it.
I had snow all over the vehicle and maybe even in the seams between the door and body still i can t see any cuts in the weatherstripping.
Had the same problem with water collecting on passenger side floorboard only.
Brought it to the dealer and replaced the door seal.
My 1998 suburban 1 2 ton 2wd gets loads of water on the drivers side floor after heavy maybe driving rain it started about 1 month ago the 1st time i noticed it was after the weird snow we had.

Water in front floor boards.
As an interim solution remove the drain plugs from under your carpet.
So i parked the jeep in garage and used wet vac to clean up all water.
Jeep wrangler water leak when it rains if you after heavy rain you notice condensation build up on your windows that s usually a tell tale sign there is an internal leak somewhere.
After all the rain this past week i got in the jk and noticed water standing in floor mat.
A few weeks back i noticed about a half inch of water above the top of floor mat on passenger side.
At least 2 inches deep when it rains very hard for a long time.
Last heavy rain saturated the mats.
Dumped it out and noticed under the mats was soaking wet as well.
Posted in tech talk.
The wet area was limited to the section closer to the door and near the footrest.
This is how i solved my passenger side flood thanks to other youtuber s who gave me some great places to look.
The car had been sitting all day since i drove it to work and was out in the rain for several hours.
