Since clutch is actually working i don t think there s a problem within the components inside the bell housing i think it is within the clutch pedal itself.
Check the firewall closely for any damage around the master cylinder mounting points.

The over center spring is to assist in pushing the clutch pedal down not to bring it back up.
There are four components that can cause the clutch pedal go all the way to the floor.
You could damage the clutch the clutch fork or the transmission.
To isolate the two keep the clutch pedal on the floor and shift the transmission into neutral.
The borg beck pressure plate is stiff and requires help pushing the pedal down.

If there are no visible leaks from the slave cylinder the clutch master cylinder on the firewall likely has an internal leak.
For starters here s a pic of the entire clutch pedal assembly for reference.
If fluid level is fine and you don t have a leak under the car it is most likely the clutch master cylinder.
Check if clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder is bad.
Check the fluid level then check under the car for a drip spot of brake fluid.
First job is to remove the lower dash surround to gain access to the clutch pedal.
If the noise persists the release bearing is bad.

If you haven t done this before you start by removing the side fuse cover by placing a small bladed screwdriver in this gap blue arrow.
If the noise is gone the pilot bearing is bad.
The master or slave cylinder can fail due to an internal or external seal leak.
That is a typical sign of a bad slave cylinder or loose hose.
The pedal stays on the floor because there is a spring under compression on the clutch pedal that helps push the pedal to the floor.
Liberally spraying wd 40 onto clutch pedal pivot under dash may help.
Inspect the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder for leakage and rebuild or replace if leaking.
Or your brake clutch fluid got so low you got bunches of air in the system.
A bearing noise that occurs when releasing the clutch pedal to engage the clutch while in neutral but goes away when the pedal is depressed is caused.
After repeated clutch bleeding by the dealership i finally resigned myself to just reaching down and re setting the pedal when needed.
